We are in for it if we are already at 100 degrees in May. How are the may flowers supposed to grow when the sun is burning the tar outta them?
The kids are lovin it. Lotsa pool action.
Speakin of the kids. Why are they getting so big, so fast? Bryce is 5 years old and doing all the cool things that little boys love to so. Riding his bike without training wheels. Climbing trees. Beating up his sister. You know, all the fun stuff. He is so excited to start kindergarten next year.
Ella is every bit the redhead that God created. Fiery. She is turning 3 in a few weeks. With the attitude of a 13 year old. Wow. If it can be broken or tweaked, she's all over it. She is so funny. Definitely just like me (this is Jarrod by the way). She doesn't want to listen to anything anybody tells her. But feels really bad when she gets in trouble. Mainly because she got caught.
Then there is Halle. 9 months old and every bit the "perfect" kid. She is constantly smiling. That is no exaggeration. Never met a happier kid. Especially now that she can roam the house by herself. Very independent, like her mom. Every bit the daddy's girl. They both are actually.
Cara and I are on our way to 8 awesome years of marriage. I am still working in the housing industry. Managing the engineering department of a truss company. As you can imagine, the recent housing decline has been lotsa fun for us. But God provides and we manage to get just enough work to keep us busy.
Cara has also ventured out and started her own small business. She is now an independent consultant for Arbonne. She loves it. It fits her personality perfectly. So if anyone is interested, she would love to talk to you about it.
That is a good enough update for now. I will try to keep more on top of this blogging thing.

Hey...it's me the very proud auntie of all five of you. Yes, I know I'm the lucky one! Your beautiful family brings us tremendous JOY! Can't wait to hang out this summer. I hope to wear a permanent path over Ortega. Only 18 more days of school! "Schools Out For Summer"
